Lamech Bogonko is an experienced Clinician and part time lecturer with 8 years
experience as a physiotherapist. He has a Bachelor
of Science (Hons) Physiotherapy and Masters
in Sports Physiotherapy from the University
of the Western Cape, South Africa and a varsity experience in managing,
rehabilitating musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. Currently he is
the team physiotherapist for the Kenya
Rugby 7s Men’s National Team, Part time Lecturer and Full time Clinician.
He is also a PhD
Candidate with passion in sports injury surveillance and prevention research
He has culminated his passion for orthopedic, Sports
rehabilitation and sports physical therapy by opening his own private physical
therapy practice in 2011 (East Africa Physiotherapy, Sports Injury Clinic, Exercise
and Sports Medicine center)
Lamech’s clinical experience covers a broad spectrum including
outpatient orthopedic clinics, acute care hospitals, as well as sub-acute
skilled pitch side physiotherapy for sports teams.
Lamech makes it a priority to keep up to date with the latest trends in the dynamic field of physical therapy and sports rehabilitation through advanced continuing education (CEU) courses.
